3.Avoid Sugar,Coffee,Alcohol.

Strictly avoid Alcohol,sugar and coffee for some period as they are stimulants which  increases your desire for Nicotine.Once you get drunk your desire for Cigarettes will increase exponentially,you may think to have just one puff and you might continue smoking.

4. Go to a gym or have regular exercise.

If you are physically healthy you will get healthy mentally also and your desire for Cigarettes should cease periodically.Many men have tried this technique to quit smoking very easily.

The treatment for drug addiction includes three phases preparatory, withdrawal and rehabilitation phase.

Preparatory phase

In this phase the appraisement of drug used .after this the plan of treatment prepared .in this stage the doctor make a discussion with the addicted person , so that his anxiety may be removed . he may get a good feel , and hope which is important in treatment.

Withdrawal phase

It includes two other phases , gradual and abrupt. The gradual withdrawal takes periods of weeks or months. The abrupt withdrawal phase includes abrupt termination of narcotics by supportive surgery.

Rehabilitation phase

It is the phase started immediately after the first phase. In this stage the addicted person capable of facing normal stresses without taking drugs. In this period the person get moral support from the doctor.

Studies have shown that tobacco smoke contains at least seven polycyclic hydrocarbons and radio active polonium which can cause cancer. The risk of lung diseases is six times and that of heart diseases twice as compared to a non smoker . there are numerous other disease and disorders that are related to smoking . there is a world wide campaign to banish smoking in public place as smokers affect the health of even non smokers.

The cigar smoke consists of poisonous gases such as carbon monoxide , carbon dioxide in great amount. The carbon monoxide is too injurious to our health. It forms carboxy haemoglobin with haemoglobin. The oxygen carrying capacity of haemoglobin reduced the smoker may undergo suffocation. Prevention is better than cure . so avoid smoking and save you and others.
