COLOURING YOUR HAIR- For all the dye hard fans:
You can gift your hair glossy and stylish highlights-right at home .All you need to do is pull on your gloves, pick up your colouring brush and follow some very simple rules. The first and foremost rule is to make sure that you always color your hair during daylight to make sure that colour that shows up is the colour that you were hoping for. Keep your hair clean and dry prior to colouring as product residue can interfere with the developing colour. Use rubber gloves to prevent your skin from staining. It is very important that you read the instructions and directions on the box and follow them very carefully. Always do a strand test. Poke holes in the shower cap around the areas where you need the highlights. Wear the shower caps and pull out the strands of your hair from the holes.
Distribute colour evenly from the root to the tip of the hair using a fan shaped brush. Use a stopwatch or a timer to tell the correct amount of time your colour has been on. After that wash your hair well with clean water using your regular shampoo and deep conditioner. If these are the do’s there are also some don’ts, like never apply colour to wet hair. Please don’t colour your hair if it is visibly damaged or dry. Don’t colour your hair if you have leftovers like henna or bleach. Use branded colours and that too use it only after a strand test to eliminate the possibility of an allergic reaction. Finally just a suggestion, please choose a colour two shades lighter or darker than your natural colour to avoid a shade that will look fake.
