The normal breathing is technically known as eupnoea. Certainly breathing occurs at a faster rate and sometimes it occurs at a slower rate . the fast breathing is known as tachypnoea and smaller rate of breathing is known as bradypnoea . the normal breathing can be distorted by some physiological and environmental conditions . the important respiratory disorders are hypoxia and asphyxia

Asphyxia

Asphyxia is the technical name of a situation when the delivery of oxygen to the tissues fails. Asphyxia is also known as breathlessness .the breathing difficulty occurs due to choking , drowning etc. these prevent the entry of air into the lungs .the symptoms are cough and violent respiratory efforts. The difficulty in breathing technically speak dyspnoea .in severe case it may cause death. I strongly recommend to consult a doctor if you are suffering from breathlessness.

Hypoxia

Hypoxia it the technical name of oxygen deficiency in the tissue level. It also known as anoxia. It is of four types. Arterial hypoxia, anaeamic hypoxia, steganant hypoxia, histoxic hypoxia.
