A normal human being must sleep for at least 4 hours a day. sleeping for less than 4 hours a day may affect heart in many ways. If stress and tension are the problems that make you deprive your sleep then the matter becomes more severe . This cause to high blood pressure and may lead to heart attack. Sleeping more than 8 hours is also bad for health. It is better that you may have a check up as early as possible. Be sure that you are not affected by any lung or heart problems that make you sleepless. Sleeping late is not a problem. Be sure that you sleep for 5 to 8 hours a day continuously. In short late night sleepers need not get worried. Lack of good sleep makes you weak for your next days work. Brain capability reduces by a good amount in these cases. To be fresh and energetic throughout the day make it a habit to sleep well for at least 4 hours. Children are expected to sleep for at least 7 hours
Steps to have good sleep
- Try to sleep on time everyday.
- If you are not feeling sleepy then read some book or do some other work rather than making yourself uncomfortable in bed.
- Don’t watch TV while sleeping.
- Some sleep while listening to music. It may not be applicable to all.
- It is better to meditate for a while before sleeping.
- Think of all the good things you experienced on that day and go to sleep.
