Diabetes Prevention Tips-Blood Pressure and control and Cholesterol

Blood Pressure Control
Most of the people ,even the youth are under the clutches of blood pressure ,which may ultimately lead to heard diseases.Most of the heart diseases patients have blood pressure.Kidney failure,stroke, is another outcome of high blood pressure.A doctor usually prescribe treatment if the BP is above or below 140/90.If one is having less amount of pressure he can make it up normal by controlling food and by small exercises.But this not applicable for diabetic patients.Diabetic patients must have strict control over blood pressure,they should intake medicines for BP(if they are having it) at the same time food control and exercise is much important.check up must also be made to know whether pressure is affecting your other body parts.
Cholesterol Reduction
Good cholesterol namely HDL gets reduced in those patients having diabetes ,at the same time bad cholesterol namely LDL and Triglyceride increases this condition is called Diabetic Dislipimdemeia.Diabetic patients should have checked their Lipid profile.Total cholesterol should be below 200 ,better if below 180.The LDL cholesterol should be below 100,better if below 70.Triglycerides should be below 150 at the same time the good cholesterol HDL should increase,it should be above 45-50.Doctors may prescribe Statine medicines if the cholesterol level is that high,don’t stop in taking this medicine as they are that much important,this is to control chances of heart diseases.Necessary changes in daily diet must also be made.
