In order to prove these results were correct, scientists examined the relationship between skin color and diet of the people. It was found that people who consumed more proteins and vegetables for a month had a better skin health than when compared with the people who consumed more oily foods. In the second phase of study scientists used computer software to manipulate the skin color on about 15 to 20 images of faces. The software also provided the choice of varying the concentrations of carotenoids and suntan. Observations lead to the conclusion that better the skin the more healthily would be the face. After the experiment, most of the people opted for skin color improvement by carotenoids rather than sustan skin color. The carotenoid skin color represents health and fertility of an individual.
