It makes one starved and deprived, and more often than not, there is always a tendency to compensate the skipped meal with a generous dose in the next meal, which actually add more calories to your body.

1. Obviously the primary step is washing! Dip the vegetables in water for 5 mins before cutting. Later wash it properly.

2. Always cut as Big pieces. Researches show that big pieces carry more vitamins.

3. Use a neat and clean tools for cutting,especially the knife and cutting table.

4. Use very small amount of water (you know the required amount) while cooking.

5. Keep the lids closed.

6. Keep all ingredients ready before cooking.

7. While cooking green vegetables, keep the lid on to preserve green color.

8. Use less soda or baking powder as it irritates intestine.

9. Use minimum (reqd) salt and chilly powder. Over use of salt may increase your blood pressure and chilly may result in ulcer.
